Privacy notice

In short: if you join the waitlist, we keep your email address so we can tell you when PureGolfAI launches. We don't sell it, we don't share it for marketing, and you can remove it at any time using the form at the bottom of this page or by emailing privacy@puregolfai.com.
Who we are
This website is run by PureGolfAI ("we", "us"). We decide how the information collected on this site is used, so we are the data controller under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
You can contact us about your data at privacy@puregolfai.com.
What we collect
You can join the waitlist using the form on our website or by email. When you join, we store:
- Your email address, which you give us.
- The date and time you signed up.
- Your country, worked out from your internet connection, if you sign up on the website. We don't store your IP address.
- How you signed up: the page you came from (if your browser sends it), or that you joined by email.
If you join by email, we also keep a copy of the email you sent in our inbox, and we send you one automatic email confirming you're on the list.
If you just browse the site without signing up, we don't collect anything about you ourselves. This site doesn't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.
Why we use it
We use your email address only to:
- tell you when PureGolfAI launches and how to get early access
- send occasional updates about PureGolfAI before launch
We use your country and the page you came from, grouped together, to understand where interest is coming from. Our legal basis is your consent, which you give by joining the waitlist. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare hosts this website and the database the waitlist is stored in, and handles email sent to and from our @puregolfai.com addresses. The database's primary location is Western Europe. Cloudflare also keeps short-lived technical logs of requests to the site, which it uses to keep the service running and secure.
- Google (Gmail) hosts the inbox that emails to our @puregolfai.com addresses are forwarded to.
- Google Fonts provides the fonts on this site. When you load a page, your browser requests the fonts from Google, which sees your IP address as part of that request.
We don't sell your data or share it with anyone for their own marketing. Where a provider handles data outside the UK, it does so under safeguards approved under UK law.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist details until you ask us to remove them, or until 12 months after PureGolfAI launches, whichever is sooner. After that we delete them, unless you've since created a PureGolfAI account.
Your rights
To use any of these rights, email privacy@puregolfai.com. You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the data we hold about you
- ask us to correct it
- ask us to delete it, or remove yourself using the form below
- withdraw your consent at any time
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Remove me from the waitlist
Enter the email address you signed up with and we'll delete it from the waitlist straight away.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we use your data, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
